[Sept 2019] We are traveling mostly by boat and discover the shores and waterfronts, but some times we have the opportunity to get to see more of the local countryside and local lifestyle.
Autumn is a beautiful time to visit the Chesapeake Bay and surroundings. We like to spend this time of the year in the Norther Bay Area - still warm weather, protected from storms passing by and nice people and country side. The eastern shores of Maryland are mostly composed of big farms and endless fields. And they need "trucks" to maintain the farm grounds...
We went to the "Big Rig Truck Show" in Denton, Maryland - never been to such event before - very different to what we are used to ;-)
The paint works and detailing on some of the trucks was just impressive - tastes & colors are very personal and not ours but cool to see. Impressive how they keep those "monsters" shiny and sparkling on the roads. Lot's of polish involved and we know quiet a bit about polishing big surfaces...
It was also a nice "countryroad" drive through Maryland with endless fields of corn, barns and immense sheds - like in the movies.
