We went to Amsterdam for METS, the biggest marine trade show. Unfortunately Sebastien could not stay for the show and all his meetings. He literally came to Amsterdam from the Bahamas for 24h or one beer. Long hours in planes - not fun but nothing that we could influence...
The trade show is huge and it took me the full three days to get around and see most of the stands and people that I wished to see. In general it was amazing to meet so many people from past projects/destinations [Asia, France & Brittany, USA, Caribbean etc.]
The last evening I went for a stroll through the center of Amsterdam [and do some last minute shopping for printer cartridges for Moonwave]. It was a cold but beautiful evening - Amsterdam is definitively worth to come back and maybe plan more time to visit. Not sure how the locals find recognize their bike in such huge parking lots - I would probably be lost...
